"Desire is the key to motivation, but it's determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal - a commitment to excellence - that will enable you to attain the success you seek" -Mario Andretti
Wow, I haven't written in this thing in a month so I thought that I would write in here and keep everyone up-to-date on what's going on with me here in Odessa. Well, for starters, whoever is reading this, I need you to pray for my Mom. She has malaria. She has had this before and has beaten it, but me the worry wort that I am, I just need people to pray for her. She's getting better and she will see her doctor tomorrow (Monday).
OK, now that that's taken care of, I also need to keep everyone informed on how I am doing driving wise. Last week, from Tuesday through Thursday, I drove from Odessa to Ithaca without breaking a sweat. Then again, it felt good to drive in our car not his Father's. We got a 1998 Subaru Forrester and we are enjoying every moment of it. This week, I think that we (meaning his Father and I) are going to tackle myself driving to and from Odessa to Ithaca. I know that I can do this, but I am a little apprehensive about it. The reason is because I don't know if I will hit a deer or if I will be driving too slow for people to pass me and get annoyed. Then again, I know I will be able to do this. The more practice I get, the more determination and motivation I get and that's what I need right now.
Work is still work the only difference is that one particular technician is sick and tired of the way they are treated by the Pharmacy Manager. I can't really say that I blame her, but on the other hand, I was treated the exact same way by Joe (the old Pharmacy Manager). The technician almost got fired, but then again, who really knows at this point. I guess I am done for now. Until the next post, have a good week and God Bless!
